“Repeat the Sounding Joy” DESCRIPTION: We never recognized the depth of lyric “Joy to the World” possessed until when flipping through the Christmas section of a hymnal, we paused to read. Many of the words were unfamiliar to us… though sung around our home year after year. A melody can either stifle a lyric, or bring it to life, and it became apparent to us (and our producers, Joshua Spacht & David A. Molina) we wanted to create a fresh contemporary take and “resurrect” the lost beauty found in the historic poetry.
