About “Repeat the Sounding Joy”

We never recognized the depth of lyric “Joy to the World” possessed until recently, when flipping through the Christmas section of a hymnal, we paused to read. Many of the words were unfamiliar to us… though sung around our home year after year. A melody can either stifle a lyric, or bring it to life. It became apparent to us (and our producers) we wanted to create a fresh take and “resurrect” the beauty found in the poetry… even if it was just for ourselves alone. We worked for 7 days crafting, and re-crafting parts and pieces to create a contemporary yet cinematic Christmas song which properly portrayed the message of Christ’s coming. And now, we hope you too will enjoy this new rendition of the old carol we call, “Repeat the Sounding Joy”.
